A yogurt cup, a milk carton, a coffee bag. In clay.
Single-use packaging cast in white earthenware by hand in Lisbon. Every crease of the original stays.
Haley Bernier, Fábrica Moderna, Marvila
The series
Ten pieces, smallest to largest. Each is cast from a disposable original and finished by hand.
Familiar forms, a different material.
Heir Ceramics began with a fascination for objects and how we live with them. Ceramics hold a past interaction, visible on the surface and understood in the hand. The forms are familiar; the material and finish are not.
“You couldn't mistake Haley Bernier's pottery for another.” Time Out Lisboa, 2022
